Soft bait maintenance techniques

1. Firstly, for newly purchased soft bait, after the first unpacking use, if the used soft bait is returned to its original packaging, it must be cleaned of any impurities on the surface of the soft bait. Only then can they be placed together with similar products that have not been used. Pay attention to one detail, and the soft bait hook is the key cleaning area.
2. If the original packaging is damaged or other packaging is chosen, such as Ronglu Ya Soft Bait, it is important to avoid choosing packaging with PE as the raw material. Packaging bags for other raw materials are not recommended. Some fishing friends like to use plastic boxes to hold soft bait, which is not recommended here.
3. The selection of storage temperature for soft bait is recommended not to store it at low temperatures. Some fishing friends prefer to refrigerate the soft bait. This method is not advisable. Low temperature will destroy the molecular structure in the raw materials of soft bait. It will accelerate the aging of soft bait and reduce its usage rate and effectiveness.
4. Soft baits of the same brand, with different styles and colors, cannot be mixed together. Especially for some machine baits that use spray paint, if mixed, the results will be known to everyone.
5. A fishing friend mentioned that adding some oil to the soft bait to improve its storage time. Here, it should be briefly explained that the oil produced by the soft bait is not what we consider to be an oil product, but a secretion of chemical raw materials. So it is not recommended to use other chemical oils for maintenance.
6. Soft bait with salt should be stored in a dry environment as much as possible. If the environment is too humid, the skin of the bait will have a stinging effect. Soft bait in the market is afraid of direct sunlight.
7. Try to store the soft bait in a dry and constant temperature place, such as a temperature range of 15-28 degrees. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will cause certain damage to the chemical molecules of the soft bait.
8. When storing soft baits, try not to squeeze them together, as prolonged squeezing may alter the original shape of the bow and bait.
